Five Years of Luster

Five Years of Luster - Spey Co. Fine Pearl Jewelry of Washington, DC

This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating more than love. We’re raising a toast to five years of luster with Spey. And what a wonderful five years it has been. When we launched our decadent little company in 2014 on the annual day of love, we wanted to be more than a fine pearl startup. Yes, we launched with an exquisite collection of pearl jewelry, but we simply had to be more: more exceptional, more authentically Washingtonian, more giving, more caring, more Spey.

Our pearls continue to be rigorously sourced from the finest waters. Our jewelers craft this gem of queens and queen of gems into exceptional pieces that are fit to wear from the boardroom to the boardwalk and from the White House to the red carpet. We’ve also introduced a range of little luxuries that extend the signature Spey style across the wardrobe, including everyday leather essentials, textiles in silk and wool, and even a handmade umbrella for those showery spring days.

Elegance isn’t just in our collections, it’s also in how we live and operate as a company. Over the last five years, we began a campaign to support an endangered mussel (and if you missed the launch event, check out the recap here). We’ve worked toward a better and more beautiful DC by supporting causes and organizations that are dear to our hearts: The Washington Ballet, Washington Performing Arts, Chamber Dance Project, Luke’s Wings, American Heart Association, The Colorectal Cancer Alliance, Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center, Chance for Life, and more. We’ve introduced special purchasing programs for veterans and members of our Armed Forces – and we have so much more to do!

Over the next half decade, we hope to make an even greater contribution to the capital community we call home. Spey started with love and as we grow, that love grows, too. Want to be a part of the movement? Add a little luster to your wardrobe by shopping the Spey fine pearl jewelry collection. It’s a good day to wear pearls.
